Yamazaki Sherry Cask 2016

This impressive expression is considered to be one of the finest whiskies in the world. Matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, just 5,000 bottles of this exceptional dram were produced and filled at 48% abv.

On the nose, there is dark chocolate and dried fruits accompanied by a welcome tangy note. The palate is intense and sumptuous, bringing more chocolate alongside toasted hazelnuts before leading into the long and slightly bitter finish.
