This Mizunara Wood Reserve expression from Ichiro’s Malt is crafted with malt whisky from Hanyu and Chichibu distilleries. Both parcels have been matured in Mizunara (Japanese) oak casks at the Chichibu distillery, where they have then been married together and bottled at a strength of 46% abv.

Ichiro’s Malt MWR Japanese Whisky is a Japanese whisky that is made from malted barley and water. It has a light, clean taste with hints of vanilla and honey. The honey, fruity flavours, and caramelized applewood notes start off your experience. The citrus also brings up more sweetness and juiciness to the mix.
