Hibiki 17 Year Old With 5cl Miniature

Hibiki is one of the best-loved whiskies to come out of Japan. Made with a combination of malt and grain whiskies from the three Suntory distilleries, the whisky is matured in mizunara oak casks for seventeen years before being bottled at 43% abv. The result is an elegant and harmonious expression.

This set includes a full size bottle of Hibiki 17 Year Old as well as a 5cl miniature of the same whisky.

The nose is complex and slightly waxy, with sweet and sumptuous notes of baked peaches, rose, toffee, and subtle hints of coconut. This sweetness continues in the palate which is full of smooth vanilla custard, rich chocolate, and glace cherries. The finish is perfectly silky and satisfying, with hints of mizunara oak lingering.
