Mars Kasai Blended Whisky

Little-known Mars Shinshu distillery is Japan’s highest whisky distillery at just under 800 metres. Kaisei, the Japanese word for Mars, is a blend of both malt and grain whiskies that have been matured in a variety of barrels.

The nose is floral and spring-like, with stone fruits and a hint of smoke that develops on the palate. Fresh green apples fill the taste, alongside maple syrup, vanilla and Belgian waffles – a combination that lasts in the finish.
